Ohio High School Basketball - Mapleton routed by Edison

The Edison Chargers bounced the visiting Mapleton Mounties basketball squad by a final score of 86-56 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Chargers confront the Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Bay game, on Friday, January 9. Edison will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Redskins go into the game with a 7-4 record after their 68-28 non-league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, OH).

With the loss, Mapleton falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Mounties host Monroeville (Monroeville, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Firelands game on Friday, January 9. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-2. Monroeville won 65-59 in their recent league game against New London (New London, OH)
