The Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Oakland Oakers to 50 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sheridan for a 2A Tri-River game on Wednesday, January 7.

With the loss, Oakland falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Oakers host Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR) to play the Billies in a non-league game on Friday, January 9. The Billies go into the game with a record of 8-3. Pleasant Hill lost 54-53 in their recent non-league test against Burns (Burns, OR)
