The Canyon Cowboys basketball team (Canyon Country, CA), was overwhelmed 80-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA)
The Patriots now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a West Valley battle on Wednesday, January 12. Birmingham will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 79-57 non-league win over Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-10.
The Cowboys (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions come into the Foothill battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Saugus was overwhelmed by Windward (Los Angeles, CA), 83-80, in a non-league battle.
