The Brookeland Wildcats ran past the host Overton Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 50-42 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Broaddus Bulldogs (Broaddus, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 game, on Friday, January 14. Brookeland will attempt to move on its 4-16 season record.
