South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Northeast Dubois Jeeps (Dubois, IN), 44-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Knox upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Stars come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Bedford North Lawrence won 62-40 in their recent non-league bout against Owen Valley (Spencer, IN)

Next up, the Jeeps play the Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 8. Northeast Dubois will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 61-51 league loss to Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN).
