Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL), 58-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chilton County upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Tigers host Pelham (Pelham, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Rebels play the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 20. Thorsby will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
