The Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 49-37 in Saturday's league test.
The Flying Jets (3-4) will now prepare for their test against South Adams (Berne, IN). The Starfires go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, South Adams went down by Blackford (Hartford City, IN), 58-35, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host South Adams for a Allen County test on Friday, January 20.
