Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Adelanto Saints (Adelanto, CA) and the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), saw Adelanto's basketball squad knock off Fairfax by a count of 60-51.

With the victory, Adelanto upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Saints host Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a Desert Sky challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Granite Hills lost 49-35 in their recent league challenge against Silverado (Victorville, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Monday, January 9. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 87-33 non-league win over San Fernando (San Fernando, CA).
