The Danbury Lakers basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Arcadia Redskins to 41 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lakers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvert for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Tuesday, January 10. Danbury will battle a Senecas team coming off a 46-33 league win over New Riegel (New Riegel, OH). The Senecas record now stands at 8-3.
The Redskins (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Golden Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Gibsonburg was routed by St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH), 33-27, in a league contest.
