The Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers topped the host Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards basketball team by a final score of 54-40 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Quest Charter Academy Gators (Peoria, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 10. Illinois School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Gators enter the game with a 6-13 record after their 77-39 non-league loss to East Moline United (East Moline, IL).
With the defeat, Arkansas School for the Deaf moves to 0-13 on the year. The Leopards host Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR) to face the Red Hawks in a 1A Region 4 game on Friday, January 13. The Red Hawks enter the game with a record of 11-7.
