Bethany Christian Bruins (Goshen, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN), 49-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bethany Christian upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Bruins host South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN) to play the Trailblazers in a Hoosier Plains bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. South Bend Career Academy lost 85-71 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeland (LaGrange, IN)

Next up, the Lions play the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) in a Northern Indiana bout, on Friday, January 13. Bremen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 53-45 league loss to South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN).
