In Saturday's non-league match, the host Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries basketball team scored a decisive 69-36 triumph over the Powell County Wardens.
In their next game, the Vikings & Valkyries meet the St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) in a B District 7 match, on Saturday, January 21. Bigfork will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record.
With the defeat, Powell County moves to 1-8 on the year. The Wardens host Jefferson (Boulder, MT) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 12. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-5.
