In Saturday's non-league match, the host Bishop Ryan Lions basketball team scored a good 69-61 triumph over the Stanley Blue Jays.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Surrey Mustangs (Surrey, ND) in a B Region 6 District 12 match, on Thursday, January 19. Bishop Ryan will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
With the defeat, Stanley moves to 4-3 on the year. The Blue jays travel to Berthold (Berthold, ND) to meet the Bombers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 10. The Bombers enter the match with a record of 0-5. Berthold lost 66-33 in their recent non-league match against Tioga (Tioga, ND)
