Winston-Salem Christian National Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 60-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winston-Salem Christian National upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Varsity Opponent (, ) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The go into the bout with a record of 197-652.
Next up, the Barons play the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) in a Virginia Independent bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bishops go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 62-59 non-league loss to Life Christian Academy (Chester, VA).
