Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles (St. Elmo, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grayville Bison (Grayville, IL), 79-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brownstown/St. Elmo upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Edinburg/South Fork (Kincaid, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Edinburg/South Fork lost 71-43 in their recent league bout against Calvary (Springfield, IL)

Next up, the Bison clash with the Odin/Patoka (Odin, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Grayville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 53-47 league loss to Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL).
