Maine High School Basketball - Mountain Valley trounces Buckfield

The Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) basketball crushed the host Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME), 60-29 in Saturday's league test.
The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME). The Raiders go into the B South test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Oak Hill was trounced by Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 55-43, in a non-league test.
The Bucks now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Telstar for a C South test on Monday, January 9. Buckfield will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 73-22 non-league loss to Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Rebels record now stands at 0-3.
