The Mt. Baker Mountaineers basketball team (Deming, WA), was routed 85-51 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA)

The Tigers now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ferndale for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Wednesday, January 11.

The Mountaineers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Lions come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Lynden trounced Bellingham (Bellingham, WA), 69-44, in a league battle.
