Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Patrick Saints (Maysville, KY), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 1-14 on the season. The Cougars host Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY) to clash with the Black Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Black Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Robertson County lost 70-33 in their recent non-league bout against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Hillsboro Christian Academy Crusaders (Hillsboro, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. St. Patrick will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 37-32 non-league loss to Cincinnati Warriors (Hamilton, OH).
