North Carolina High School Basketball - Shining Light Academy nudges Carolina International

January 7, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27409

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), by a count of 77-71.

The Knights (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Oak Level Baptist Academy (Stokesdale, NC). The Conquerors go into the NCCSA A District 3 outing with a 1-14 record.

The Comets now hold a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a 1A Conference 38 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Carolina International will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 84-48 non-league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 8-6.
