The Lynnwood Royals basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Cascade Bruins to 68 in the Royals league triumph on Saturday.
The Royals now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edmonds-Woodway for a 2A/3A Wesco contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lynnwood will meet a Warriors team coming off a 56-37 non-league loss to Stadium (Tacoma, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.
The Bruins (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA). The Red Wolves enter the 2A/3A Wesco contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Cedarcrest nudged Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA), 49-47, in a league contest.
