The Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) basketball crushed the host Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS), 72-30 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolves (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Greenville (Greenville, MS). The Hornets go into the 5A Region 2 test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Greenville was trounced by O'Bannon (Greenville, MS), 77-68, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to DeSoto Central for a 6A Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 10. Center Hill will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 44-34 league loss to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-6.
