The China Spring Cougars basketball team (China Spring, TX), was overwhelmed 70-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX)
The Bobcats now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland Legacy for a 6A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, January 13. San Angelo Central will battle a Rebels team coming off a 75-52 non-league loss to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 3-18.
The Cougars (15-9) will now prepare for their battle against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates come into the 4A Region III District 23 battle with a 12-8 record.
