The Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) basketball knocked off the host College Place Hawks (College Place, WA), 73-58 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolves (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Zillah (Zillah, WA). The Leopards go into the 1A South Central - West test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Zillah notched a victory over Connell (Connell, WA), 86-44, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Naches Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. College Place will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 62-48 non-league win over Wahluke (Mattawa, WA). The Rangers record now stands at 6-4.
