Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH), 61-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Defiance upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Kenton (Kenton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Western Buckeye bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Kenton lost 71-56 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Swanton Bulldogs (Swanton, OH) in a Northwest Ohio bout, on Friday, January 13. Wauseon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 60-58 league loss to Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH).
