DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, DePaul College Prep upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Rams host Marmion (Aurora, IL) to play the Cadets in a Chicago Catholic - White bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Cadets come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Marmion lost 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL)

Next up, the Scouts play the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Lake Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 59-42 league win over Waukegan (Waukegan, IL).
