With the victory, Somerset upgrades its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Pearsall (Pearsall, TX) to play the Mavericks in a 4A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, January 13. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 5-16.
