Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN), 73-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lourdes upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Charles (St. Charles, MN) to play the Fighting Saints in a AA Section 1 bout on Monday, January 9. The Fighting Saints come into the bout with a record of 3-7. St. Charles lost 79-39 in their recent league bout against La Crescent (La Crescent, MN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Randolph Rockets (Randolph, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Dover-Eyota will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN).
