In Saturday's non-league outing, the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ), by a margin of 51-40.

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Panthers go into the Super Essex - Independence outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Cedar Grove defeated Butler (Butler, NJ), 35-34, in a non-league outing.
