East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ), 55-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, East Brunswick upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Sayreville (Parlin, NJ) to play the Bombers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bombers come into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Eagles play the Sayreville Bombers (Parlin, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - White bout, on Saturday, January 14. Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
