Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN), 74-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Lakeview upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Lakers travel to Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN) to play the Eagles in a A Section 3 bout on Monday, January 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Lac qui Parle Valley lost 62-51 in their recent league bout against Canby (Canby, MN)

Next up, the Flying Dutchmen play the Adrian Dragons (Adrian, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Edgerton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
