The Farmington Tigers basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Edina Hornets to 67 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apple Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Farmington will meet a Eagles team coming off a 66-59 non-league win over North (North St. Paul, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.

The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Jefferson ran past Burnsville (Burnsville, MN), 74-52, in a league contest.
