Florida High School Basketball - First Baptist Academy nudges True North Classical Academy

First Baptist Academy Lions (Naples, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host True North Classical Academy Titans (Miami, FL), 73-71 in a non-league bout.
With the win, First Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Lions travel to IMG Academy Blue (Bradenton, FL) to clash with the Ascenders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Ascenders go into the bout with a record of 10-6. IMG Academy Blue lost 72-69 in their recent non-league bout against The Rock (Gainesville, FL)
Next up, the Titans clash with the Miami Christian Victors (Miami, FL) in a 2A District 16 bout, on Monday, January 9. True North Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Victors go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 64-55 non-league win over Somerset Academy Silver Palms (Miami, FL).
