The Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) basketball nipped the host Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN), 44-38 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rangers (4-7) will now prepare for their test against South Spencer (Rockport, IN). The Rebels go into the Pocket test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, South Spencer got by Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN), 61-37, in a non-league test.

The Commodores now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Charlestown for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Perry Central will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 76-55 non-league win over Madison (Madison, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 6-6.
