The Fort Wayne South Side Archers basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host Marion Giants to 81 in the Archers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Archers now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran for a Summit contest on Friday, January 13. Fort Wayne South Side will battle a Cadets team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cadets record now stands at 6-4.
The Giants (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical (Indianapolis, IN). The Titans come into the North Central contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Indianapolis Arsenal Technical edged Fort Wayne Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
