Maimonides M-Cats (Brookline, MA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gann Academy Red Heifers (Waltham, MA), 60-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Maimonides upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The M-Cats travel to Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (Lowell, MA) to play the Wolves in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Collegiate Charter School of Lowell lost 52-46 in their recent non-league bout against Foxborough Regional Charter (Foxborough, MA)

Next up, the Red Heifers play the Bancroft Bulldogs (Worcester, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Gann Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
