Gateway Regional Gators (Woodbury Heights, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Salem County Vo-Tech (Woodstown, NJ), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gateway Regional upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Gators travel to Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ) to play the Hawks in a Colonial - Patriot bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the play the Clayton Clippers (Clayton, NJ) in a Tri-County - Classic bout, on Monday, January 9. Salem County Vo-Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 72-56 non-league loss to Camden Academy Charter (Camden, NJ).
