In Saturday's league outing, the Greenwood Bulldogs (Greenwood, MS) basketball squad felled the visiting Gentry Rams (Indianola, MS), by a margin of 78-67.
The Bulldogs (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS). The Indians go into the 4A Region 3 bout with a 15-5 record. In their last bout, Yazoo City topped Senatobia (Senatobia, MS), 63-29, in a league bout.
Next up, the Rams play the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Gentry will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 63-52 league win over Columbus (Columbus, MS).
