Mississippi High School Basketball - Gentry succumbs to New Hope

The New Hope Trojans topped the host Gentry Rams basketball team by a final score of 51-37 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS) in a 5A Region 1 battle, on Friday, January 13. New Hope will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record.
The Rams (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS). The Wildcats come into the 4A Region 3 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Clarksdale prevailed over Senatobia (Senatobia, MS), 61-47, in a league battle.
