Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack (Chicago, IL), 65-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenbrook North upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Spartans host Niles West (Skokie, IL) to play the Wolves in a Central Suburban - South bout on Friday, January 13. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 10-7.

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Saint Ignatius College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 45-31 non-league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL).
