The Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR) basketball crushed the host Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR), 65-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR). The Lions go into the 1A Region 7 test with a 3-4 record.
The Go-Devils now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Woodlawn for a 2A Region 8 test on Wednesday, January 11.
