Louisiana High School Basketball - Kennedy can't hold off Holy Cross

The Holy Cross Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Kennedy Cougars to 50 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Rummel for a 5A District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Holy Cross will battle a Raiders team coming off a 38-37 non-league loss to Jesuit (New Orleans, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 15-6.
The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Jefferson (Harvey, LA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, West Jefferson nudged South Plaquemines (Buras, LA), 40-37, in a non-league contest.
