The Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders basketball team (Fort Madison, IA), was toppled 71-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA)
The Wolves now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mediapolis for a SEI - North battle on Monday, January 9. Winfield-Mt. Union will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-27 league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
The Crusaders (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Mt. Pleasant beat Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA), 59-58, in a league battle.
