John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA), 83-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, John Marshall upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Justices travel to Freeman (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Mavericks in a Colonial bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Freeman won 54-42 in their recent league bout against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA)

Next up, the Skyhawks clash with the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion bout, on Wednesday, January 11. L.C. Bird will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 61-52 league win over James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA).
