With the victory, Kearny upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Kardinals host University (Newark, NJ) to play the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Phoenix come into the bout with a record of 0-7. University lost 62-50 in their recent non-league bout against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Becton Wildcats (East Rutherford, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Pompton Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 72-60 non-league loss to Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ).
