The Kirtland Hornets basketball team (Kirtland, OH), was nudged 61-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host North Rangers (Eastlake, OH)

The Rangers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South for a Western Reserve battle on Friday, January 13.

The Hornets (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Red Devils come into the Chagrin Valley - Valley battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Crestwood was nudged by Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH), 59-53, in a non-league battle.
