Georgia High School Basketball - North Georgia Christian Academy overwhelmed by Lanier Christian Academy

The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host North Georgia Christian Academy Knights to 55 in the Lightning non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lightning now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinecrest Academy for a GAPPS - I-AAA Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lanier Christian Academy will battle a Paladins team coming off a 63-43 league loss to Fideles Christian (Cumming, GA). The Paladins record now stands at 5-8.
The Knights (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon Christian Academy (Cumming, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Horizon Christian Academy triumphed over Academe of the Oaks (Decatur, GA), 57-27, in a league contest.
