The North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) basketball knocked off the host Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), 77-63 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Norcross (Norcross, GA). The Blue Devils go into the AAAAAAA Region 7 test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Norcross notched a victory over Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA), 86-61, in a league test.

The Longhorns now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Jackson County for a AAAAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 10. Lanier will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 72-51 league loss to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-14.
