The Laredo LBJ Wolves tipped the host Mission Eagles basketball team by a final score of 54-49 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wolves face the San Diego Vaqueros (San Diego, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 10. Laredo LBJ will attempt to move on its 14-9 season record. The Vaqueros enter the game with a 16-5 record after their 70-67 non-league win over Goliad (Goliad, TX).

With the defeat, Mission moves to 2-12 on the year. The Eagles host Economedes (Edinburg, TX) to face the Jaguars in a 6A Region IV District 31 game on Friday, January 13. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 12-13. Economedes lost 64-59 in their recent non-league game against Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX)
