With the victory, Walton improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Cherokee (Canton, GA) to play the Warriors in a AAAAAAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Cherokee won 82-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Creekview (Canton, GA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Lassiter will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 68-45 league loss to Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA).
