In Saturday's league outing, the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) basketball squad felled the host Leo Lions (Leo, IN), by a margin of 59-51.

The Knights (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Wayne Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN). The Generals go into the non-league outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Fort Wayne Wayne was beaten by Indianapolis Arsenal Technical (Indianapolis, IN), 52-49, in a non-league outing.

The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to New Haven for a Northeast 8 outing on Friday, January 13.
